Economical transfering – with high reach

The Portal crane completes the product range of electrical driven carriages on rails. Like the round wood transferal carriage (RUW) the portal crane is also developed for a fast “handling” of round wood.
The crane can drive crosswise on the portal and has a reach of more than 50 m. This technology for the transferal and sorting on the log yard offers the following advantages: the costs for energy and maintenance are lower compared to machines with a diesel motor.
The operator is fully concentrated on the transferal actions as the carriage roles on rails. This saves time and operating costs.
